Ask The Experts: 3 Mind Blowing Craft Rooms

We are proud to support a wide range of professional makers in their creative endeavors! See what a lettering artist, baker and pattern maker have to say about using our products.

Lettering Artist - Dawn Nicole

Dawn Nicole of Dawn Nicole Designs is a full time lettering artist and blogger. She currently lives in Germany with her family, where her husband is stationed with the Air Force.

The WorkBox 2.0 has been instrumental in helping her stay organized and on top of all the various projects she is involved in. She posted a review of the WorkBox in January 2017 after her purchase and very recently said that she loves her Workbox just as much as the day she got it! We have included excerpts from her full review below:

So, is it worth the money?

"Absofreakinlutely! It is DREAMY, and I just love sitting at it to work! The design is incredibly smart, and I couldn’t be happier with it."

Was it hard to put together? / How long did it take?

"I highly recommend using both the video and written instructions, and be clear about what you’re doing in each step before you do it! It was a full day project. We’re pretty skilled furniture builders, and the basic Workbox took a solid 4 hours."

"I’m honestly really glad we only have to build this once…but the end result was so worth it!"

Baker - Jeanette Durham

Jeanette and her sister Laurie own a cookie company - Blyss Cookies. They make and sell beautifully detailed cookies and also teach classes. Jeanette recently started using the WorkBox 3.0 as her cookie decorating station.

When her WorkBox was all put together and organized, she couldn't contain her excitement. "I have never been so inspired to start creating!" Everything is organized and in one place!"

Is it worth it?

"It is amazing!!! Absolutely worth it!"

"When I was done loading it, I was sad I didn't take a "before" picture of the closet I used to stash all my stuff in. You definitely need one!!"

Pattern Maker - Cheryl Bush

Cheryl Bush, the blogger and creator behind Sew Can Do, has been using early versions of the EZ View Desk and WorkBox for several years. Her many projects include creating patterns and designs for magazines, fabric companies and book publishers.

Like many of us, Cheryl was working with limited space. In her blog post, Making a Dream Craft Room in a Small Space, she explains how she was able to turn her small space into a workable, organized studio where she can complete her creative work.

"The changes really have made a huge difference despite my space itself not really changing," she said. "I feel organized, my room stays cleaner and it makes working in it more enjoyable and less claustrophobic."

"It just took a little patience and some saving, but I can honestly say my craft room has become my dream space come true."
