Unlike flat-pack furniture designed for frequent replacement, the DreamBox is a solid-wood, heirloom-quality piece manufactured in the USA. This fundamental difference shapes our approach. We don’t operate a revolving door of returns. Instead, our process is designed to help you make the right choice from the start and provide clear support if an adjustment is truly needed. It’s less about a generic policy and more about a guided conversation to ensure your creative haven is just right.
The Practical Steps: A Clear Path Forward
If you find yourself needing to initiate a return or exchange, here is the process:
- Initiate Contact Within the Window: You have 30 days from the date of delivery to contact our Customer Experience team to start a return or exchange. The quickest way is via email at care@createroom.com. Please have your order number ready.
- The Consultation: Our team will consult with you to understand the reason for the return. Often, we can provide organization tips or configuration advice that might transform your experience. Many "fit" or "function" questions can be solved creatively without the need for a return.

If a Return Proceeds: If a return is the best path, we will provide detailed instructions and authorize a return pickup. Please note:
- The DreamBox must be in its original packaging and in new, unused condition.
- A 20% restocking fee applies to all returns.
- The original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Upon receipt and inspection, your refund will be issued to the original payment method.
- If an Exchange is Needed: Exchanges follow a similar consultation process. Any price differences and applicable shipping fees will be calculated. The restocking fee may apply unless the exchange is due to a defect or our error.
